DIN valve connectors usually attach to solenoid valves to control the flow and direction of liquids and gases in hydraulic and pneumatic applications. The same connectors are sometimes attached to pressure and temperature sensors and flow monitors. DIN valve connectors supply the required power and sometimes also support signal transmission into a data network. Since most are cube-shaped they are commonly called “sugarcube connectors”.
